      Attachments are miniature components that hold together different parts of a denture by various physical and mechanical methods such as friction between sections, using undercuts and resilient materials that have locking mechanisms and screws, etc.

ERA Partial Denture


     Appropriate for use with partial dentures where a resilient prosthesis is needed.  The ERA joint allows hinging around much of its radius, therefore it may be an option even where ridge alignment if diverge.  Also well suited for use with direct bonded retainers.  The female component is a plastic pattern which is incorporated as part of a crown wax-pattern and cast in a hard alloy.  There are two male designs - the standard and the ERA reduced vertical partial male.

    
ERA Implant Abutments


    

    Appropriate for use in overdentures or partial dentures retained in whole or in part and made of titanium.

ERA Overdenture

     The female attachment is a plastic pattern which is incorporated into the wax-pattern for a post and root cap coping.

 

 

ERA Direct Overdenture

    

    Applicable to both overdenture and partial denture cases.  Designed specifically for chairside use where the precision manufactured female is cemented directly into the prepared root.
